It’s almost Land Rover restoration time, my new chassis arrives on May 16th, so I’ve been shopping for all the bits I know I need.
This includes spending a few extra Pound Sterlings just so I can have pretty tins of Castrol oils instead of plastic containers. That’s not mad, right? Look at them!

Cute. Buy enough and you can get the oil on finance, too.

Wow, that looks amaizing! Can you also get coolant and other fluids in these containers? If so you can build a wall out of them in the barn.

I’ve got 6x ep90 and 2x engine oil so far, but you can metal barrels of the stuff too! If only they sold Gulf stuff.

I’m surprised one can isn’t eligible. Demon Tweeks is usually the most expensive for just about anything.

The very German power steering fluid (Pentosin) for my Saab comes in a tin. It also has a rubber spout that pulls out which is a really cool feature.

Absolutely not crazy. I have one of these cans and keep it in my trunk. When you want to have a little extra oil with you why not in a nice tin? Even more so in a classic Land Rover where it looks somewhat period correct.

You need to keep at least one in the land rover for decoration

I get buying one (or four) for the tin, but then just get the cheap stuff and refill it?

Considering the rate it uses oil, this was my main reasoning

That's cheating!

Yeah, you’re right, BUY ALL THE THINGS.
